This is a one-of-a-kind vintage Alpha Industries L-2B bomber and a valuable piece of military fashion history. Made of 100% nylon and lined with wool, it was issued in 1979 to the US Air force Ground Crew, who were responsible for maintaining and servicing aircraft on the ground. Alpha Industries began making USAF flight jackets in the 1950s, including the iconic MA-1 and the more lightweight L-2B.
